Yang Saing Koma Appointed Minister Attached to PM and Sec. State of Agriculture Ministry

PHNOM PENH: Yang Saing Koma has been appointed as a new Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, as well as a Minister Attached to the Prime Minister, by the King of Cambodia. This is according to a Royal Decree signed by the King on Tuesday, 29 November 2022.

Additionally, the King has also appointed Lek Sothear as Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries.

Yang Saing Koma and Lek Sothear received these new positions after both applied to join the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) on Sunday, 27 November 2022.

Former President of the Grassroots Democratic Party, Yang Saing Koma decided to defect and join the CPP in order to contribute to the betterment of the agricultural sector in Cambodia.
